Itinerary description
This walk starts at the interpretation centre where you can (hopefully) park. It has great views of Teide and is easy, unless you decide to climb La Fortaleza rock to walk back. If you do that, it's more like rock climbing than hiking and the trail is not obvious. It's definitely possible because we saw people doing it, but we decided to turn back and come back down. One of the nicest things about this walk was all of the lizards when we stopped for lunch at the foot of La Fortaleza.
