Itinerary description

Small hike for watching birds in the nature reserve La Gola in Port de Pollença, around the lake/estuary and the Síller and Gomar streams. The lake is in direct contact with the sea, separated by a canal and road along the Port de Pollença beach. There is an ornithological information center, indicated with the waypoint. You can find something to eat and drink along the beach, or somewhere else in Port de Pollença. There is a parking at the start.
From the start you walk along the canal to the reserve. A path takes you around the northern side of the estuary, with a viewpoint, and two places where you get close to the lake. You walk past the information center and exit the park to walk along the beach to the bridge across the canal connecting the estuary with the sea. You continue into a residential area, and then follow a path on the south side. You cross one of the streams on a bridge, go to another viewpoint, and walk back towards the start. Before the canal you turn west on a path along the pine forest, and follow a path into the forest until you come to the path on the south side you passed before. You then turn back to the canal, cross it, and walk back to the start.
