Itinerary description
This is a fairly short walk that nonetheless gets you to a high peak in the heart of the Eastern Picos. When you reach the Collado de San Carlos you have the choice of taking in a number of peaks as well as La Junciana. Cloud inversions seem very common here and we have walked out of low cloud into clear blue skies on a number of occasions.
