Itinerary description
A fascinating hike through one of the most isolated areas of La Noguera, Catalonia. The hike starts on a dirt road, next to the C-13, where you can park your car. After ascending for ten minutes a trail forks off on the left, heading to an abandoned village, and continues deep in to shrub.
Some fo the views are outstanding but much of the trail is eroded and has been taken over by vegetation so it's easy to get lost even with the help of a GPS.
Allow plenty of time and be careful when attempting this hike in the summer as it can get deceptively hot.
