Itinerary description
This is The Big One, the highest summit in the Sierra Tejeda, the westernmost 2000 metre summit on the Iberian Peninsula. It is an an ascent that many Malagueños regard as a patriotic pilgrimage.
The route up is well marked
The slight deviation I took on my route down from the summit is poorly marked on a loose surface. It has no advantages over the route I took up.
