Itinerary description

The high route from La Piedra, Santo Domingo to Las Tricias via Llano Negro, Hoya Grande and Briestas. This walk winds through farmland around Llano Negro to the pine woods around Briestas to the fields of almonds around Las Tricias. Most of the route is on footpaths, tracks or small lanes. There is some road noise from the LP 1 between Hoya Grande and Briestas. Fortunately this is not too busy a road. Foot and drink available in Llano Negro, Briestas and Las Tricias - check opening days. Bus from Las Tricias to Santo Domingo, or use the GR130 to complete the circle.
