Itinerary description

Walk along the La Valeine past the various cascades all well worth visible. Path sometimes steep and slippery after prolonged rain. Partially you walk along an old canal that was constructed to supply a hydro plant which was never finished and abandoned. Nice walk, very sheltered, beautiful views of the various cascades. This route starts at a roadside stop only suitable for one car but you can do the walk similarly from the center of the village of Albussac where there is parking or at the bottom of the Cascades de Murel where there is also parking available. There are various other paths leading off and you can also make it into a circular walk. This trail takes an alternative path between top and bottom of Cascades de Murel, this alternative path is not very good, slippery and steep, be careful when taking this.
