Itinerary description
The route starts at Castro Laboreiro, from where it climbs to Castelo Castro Laboreiro. From there, down to the valley. This is the toughest part of the route, as there is no path, and some rock climbing experience is needed. You must descent a slope full of vegetation and rocks, descending short legs of grade IV- IVa rock climbing. Once in the valley, the route up is easier (no path, but walkable) until you reach the saddle and a proper path starts. The remaining part follows an easy path.
