Itinerary description
Lac de la Plagne is a hike you must do when you visit the Parc national de la Vanoise in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The start of this hike towards the lake can be reached easily and has plenty of parking space near Refuge de Rosuel.
The hike will take you through a green valley with plenty of shade and astonishing views on the opposing mountains including a few small waterfalls. Further on you'll find yourself on grassy planes (a little more than 1/2 of the trail) towards the lake.
After a quick dive we decided to continue hiking up the hills along the lake to have a nice view on it from above.
