Itinerary description
This is a hike in the Mecca Hills Ladders area but much more difficult than the normal Ladders hike. This hike starts by going in the slot canyon just prior to the Ladders parking lot I heard was called Slot Canyon, this is a very long and narrow slot canyon. The the end it opens up an upper plateau. If you follow the track you will see it overlooks Painted Canyon. After exiting the first slot canyon you go across the plateau to another slot canyon that returns back to Painted Canyon, which in turn returns to the parking lot. To do this hike you need, good shoes, gloves, flashlight, not be claustrophobic, be able to climb ladders and a 10 ft rope ladder and you should have a GPS because it would be easy to get lost going across the plateau. This is not a beginner hike,
