Itinerary description
With the height of 999m above sea level, Ľadonhora is the second highest mountain of Kysucká vrchovina (Kysuce Highlands).
The peak itself as well as the adjacent ridge is heavily forested but there´re some excellent viewpoint spots along the foothills of the mountain. Apart from neighbouring hills of Kysucká vrchovina the dramatic peaks of Maľa Fatra are clearly visible.
The trail across the massif of Ľadonhora is arguably not much frequented (we haven´t met anybody during the whole day) and there´re some parts of it, which are either unmarked or marked pretty confusingly.

The intersection does not match the map and even the elevation figure is obviously wrong. However the green trail diverts out of this point and not out of the actual "Chata pod Ľadonhorou" waypoint which is positioned further down the yellow one on route to the village.

Chata pod Ľadonhorou
According to the map, the green trail starts here. But actually there´s no passable trail going eastward, just a yellow one going to the village.
