Itinerary description
This walk starts in the tiny hamlet of Laforet and can only be done in the summer months as "Le Pont des Claies", the 80-metre-long bridge across the Semois is raised in June and is taken down again in September.
The walk follows tracks alongside the Semois towards the village of Chairiere after which we followed the red/white marked track of the Grande Randonnee.
After making the U-turn on the clearing in the woods we followed this marked track up to the first crossroad. Here the red/white marked track turns steeply to the right to follow a higher track towards Vresse but we followed the gently descending track towards the Semois.
