Itinerary description
We took the bus up to the lakes (having left our car in Corao), and walked back down this route, also known as the Ruta Frassinelli.
The route doesn't feel as wild as other walks in the national park as its close to the road in places, but the top and bottom sections are of course spectacular!

Posible route extension
Refer to part of another our our routes "Teleña loop via the Cross of Covadonga (Cruz de Piena)", to add a sidetrip upto the Cruz de Priena, for a great view of Covadonga village & Basilica. It will add maybe 30 minutes to your trip, but add some climbing
