Itinerary description
The hike to the summit of Brennisteinsalda is breathtaking, passing through fields of volcanic rock and sulphuric steam vents--all surrounded by mountains of yellow, red, blue, and green.
I captured some video every half mile or so, sped it up, smoothed it, and uploaded. Enjoy.

Climbing up is rather easy however you'd better have trekking poles and good shoes to climb down, there was a 30-40 meter wide snowy/icy area (in july) and some slipppery surfaces on the way down. Views are amazing!!
