Itinerary description

This walk takes you from Tabayesco, up the steep sided valley then along the top of the Famara cliffs before decending to Teguise. The walk up the valley is the most intimate section of the walk and is the part I enjoyed most. The walk along the top gives spectacular views of the Famara cliffs and all the way down to Timanfaya National Park. However, here the track is wide and it feels a bit of a slog. The route returns to footpath on the decent to Teguise. The town itself is probably the most interesting on the island and is well worth an explore. Food and drink stop only in Teguise. Return journey can be made by bus.
