Itinerary description
This is day 1 of a 2 day hike through Las Alpujarras, south of Sierra Nevada, Granada. This segment of the trail goes through several beautiful Alpujarras villages, great views, orchards, and an ancient arab bridge. This trail is listed in the Lonely Planet Hiking in Spain guide. This segment starts in Pampaneira and ends in Ferreirola. Note: I lost this track when I accidentally deleted it from my GPS; I reconstructed it using Google Earth, Garmin RoadTrip and a segment of GR7 Miguel Angel from rutasyviajes.net graciously sent me.
