Itinerary description
La Gomera maart 2023, dag 1. We begonnen na onze overtocht meteen aan een dijk van een wandeling waarbij de prachtige maar woeste natuur over de hele lijn domineerde. Van Las Casetas trokken we via de oude GR132 langs de bergkam tot in San Sebastian. In 1 woord: overweldigend! Het weer was zalig en we hadden continue een fantastisch zicht op Tenerife en de Teide aan de overkant. Het was 12km puur genieten met af en toe wat adrenaline langs het soms smalle bergpad. Deze wandeling in lijn doe je best enkel bij helder weer om maximaal van de prachtige uitzichten te genieten. We namen een taxi (€10) naar het startpunt.
ENG: La Gomera March 2023, day 1. We began with a fantastic hike immediately after our crossing, with beautiful but wild nature dominating all along the way. From Las Casetas we hiked along the old GR132 along the ridge all the way to San Sebastian. In 1 word: overwhelming! The weather was great and we had continuous fantastic views of Tenerife and the Teide on the other side. It was 12km of pure enjoyment with occasional some adrenaline along the sometimes narrow mountain path. This hike in line is best done only in clear weather to enjoy the stunning views to the maximum. We took a taxi (€10) to the starting point.
