Itinerary description

Las Cuevas, a circular hike around la Romana from camperspot EuroPeCa.

The trail is pretty straightforward although the signs aren’t visual all the time. We start the hike into the rambla, unfortunately we see many dumpsites along the way as we climb steadily upwards.

Climbing out of the rambla we cross the CV-840 via a tunnel.. now it’s upwards again to the 3 caves. After this we climb to the summit where you see a Cruz, with some spectacular 360 degrees views. Now it’s downwards again towards La Romana via Cueva de Pepín.

Wat leuk! Jullie zijn vlakbij ons thuis. Alleen zijn we nu zelf op pad.

Da’s zeker leuk.. dus jullie heb iets gekocht daar? Mooie omgeving.. we zijn er nu nog steeds in de buurt, over de berg bij Jaime (richting El Fondó de les Neus)
