Itinerary description
The trail starts at “doggy roundabout” (an area where there is a large tree & cars park so dog owners can walk their dogs) and goes through fields where there are several large newly planted vineyards. You pass a villa on your left that has a very large empty old pool and head down the paved road until you come to a path on your right. You head up the trail where you will see an old carob tree and continue up the path in the direction of Rafael. Once you reach the top of the hill you will notice a marked bicycle path. You then take a sharp right and stay to the left path continuing up hill til you arrive at an old ruins on your left. After passing the ruins you head down a few meters until you see a trail that heads upwards. You continue going on this path and keep to the right trail until you see a house on your right. You will pass a bench under a tree and then you will see a paved road and descend downwards on a very steep road. From there you can see views of the valleys below and the Cumbre del Sol. Continue down the winding Carrer Rio Vinalopo until you reach Carrer Lago Superior where you will turn left and continue down to Cami de Les Cansalades. You continue along Cansalades until you reach Las Laderas Urbanisation. Continue walking up Calle del Lago Como then turn right at Calle del Lago Ginebra, then left on Carrer del Lago until you reach Cami de la Sabetera where you will turn left heading down the road until you reach your starting point at “doggy roundabout”.
