Itinerary description
This hike in Las Médulas is very beautiful! Red rocks and remains of the old Roman gold mines.
Park the car just outside of Las Médulas and put on your hiking shoes. Walk through the small village and continue in the forest with a lot of old chestnut trees.
After a steep climb to the top, you have panoramic views on the hills and red rocks of Las Medulas.
In August it can be very warm and there is not a lot of shade. So start early and take plenty of water with you.
