Las Portelas ⭐⭐⭐

Vanaf Las Portelas volgen we een lusvormige route die ons door een ongerept groen bos naar de toppen van Bolico brengt. Aan het begin van de route wacht ons een steile weg tot aan de herberg. Vanaf de herberg van Bolico beginnen we met een klim naar de top via een eenvoudig pad, dat op veel plaatsen verhard en zeer goed aangegeven is. Overblijfselen van wat vroeger een oude Camino Real was en vandaag deel uitmaakt van het PR-TF.56 wandelpad.
Tijdens de beklimming kunnen we zien hoe alle vegetatie verandert totdat we het natste en groenste gebied bereiken. Een explosie van kleuren en vochtigheid maken dit duizendjarige bos tot een geweldig visueel schouwspel.
De beklimming gaat gepaard met ongelooflijke uitzichten over de hele Palmar-vallei, met bepaalde stukken die behoorlijk steil zijn, maar zeer draaglijk, langs een pad dat, hoewel het op sommige stukken nog geplaveid is, zoals we al zeiden, op andere stukken behoorlijk verslechterd is en het pad steenachtig wordt. Het pad over de bergkam gaat de ene keer links en de andere keer rechts van de kam waar we de hele tijd kunnen genieten van fantastische uitzichten over de omringende valleien.

ENG: From Las Portelas, we follow a loop trail that takes us through a pristine green forest to the peaks of Bolico. At the start of the route, a steep road awaits us up to the inn. From Bolico's inn, we start climbing to the summit via an easy path, paved in many places and very well signposted. Remains of what used to be an old Camino Real and today is part of the PR-TF.56 hiking trail.
During the ascent, we can see how all the vegetation changes until we reach the wettest and greenest area. An explosion of colours and humidity make this millennial forest an amazing visual spectacle.
The ascent is accompanied by incredible views of the entire Palmar Valley, with certain sections that are quite steep, but very bearable, along a path that, although still paved in some sections, as we mentioned, has deteriorated considerably in others and the path becomes stony. The path over the ridge goes sometimes to the left and sometimes to the right of the ridge where we can enjoy fantastic views of the surrounding valleys the whole time.
