Itinerary description
Here is another route for the famous Laugavegur trail in southeast Iceland. I did this hike originally in 2011 over 3 days. However, this just inspired a few friends and me to do it within 24 hours this year. This track is from our successful attempt, where our walking time is a little more than 12 hours. It was an interesting experience to do this distance in this terrain, and all I can say now is that I have a lot of respect for the people which take part in the ultra-marathon on this trail.
