Itinerary description
A loop which climbs steeply from the car park, loose rocks eventually leading to a meadow where the route flattens out before ascending again to the left. Climbing through a light covering of trees and shrubs. Eventually the route climbs the cliff with the help of some cables and ironwork. Nothing too extreme but scrambling and possible difficulties especially in the wet. Finally the route passes along the rocky arrêt, offering beautiful views either side. On reaching the summit, retrace your steps to the last crossing of paths and head right. The path descends steeply (but less steeply than the ascent), on a path with loose rocks. Quite slippery in places but usually somewhere for your hands to help. Eventually the route leads to a cave which you pass through and the route becomes less steep.
