Itinerary description

Trail starts at far end of Wadi Ghail and Wadi Sal junction. There is military installation where you can park your car, please note that to this point access is only by 4×4.
1st leg: (Waypoints 1 - 7) From here you can follow the off road to left which leads to next human settlement at 50 meters distance and ends here. You can easily find trail marking at the end of the road. The trail usually goes through left slope of the valley upto Hanging Garden. There is intersection between two valleys where trails follows to valley on the right.
Leg 2: (waypoints 8 - 13) from Hanging Garden to plateau through Corridor; while facing Hanging Garden, trail continues on the left slope of the valley above the garden, keep slightly right toward Corridor along left ridge of the valley through the scree. Once you are at Corridor, flate rocky bed of the valley begins. Follow the trail marking through Vertical Wall and Hiker Challenge. This is the challenging part of the trail. Once you climb Hiker Challenge, trail ascends on the right slope of the valley up to plateau with abandoned village where Leg 2 of the trail ends.
Leg 3; (waypoints 14 -24) trail leads across the village toward west end of the village where descend starts. There is sudden drop which continuesup to the bottomofthevalley, this is old donkey trail with lose rocks, usually trail marking is available. Please note this part of the hike is very heavy on the knees.
