Limaria Ruins and Firs

Start

Down into the rambla

Continue onto the rambla. The first ruin is on the hill to the left.

Exit the rambla climbing up a slight embankment to the left. Cross the road and join the trail where the drainage pipe is.

Take the left hand trail up towards the ruined house.

1st ruin

And a view of Limaria on the left. Continue along the trail.

Processionary catapillers

Depending on time of year. Beware of these guys.

Pine trees

Follow the path as it turns right. Pine trees will be on your right hand side.

Trail splits here at this tree.

Go left and follow the trail. On the right will be a view of Los Higulares.

Hunting sign

The trial splits again. Take a right and head slightly uphill.

A fine view of the hill on the right just before the trail heads downwards blocking the view.

A series of S bends

Continue down along the trail. 2nd ruin is in sight.

Oilve trees

After these 2 trees the trail will reach another U bend. Continue and the trail goes back upwards.

Continue on the trail towards the ruin

2nd ruin

Pass this building which is on the right. Half of it is ruin and other half seems to be in use.

Big bush

After passing this bush you will reach 2 splits in the trail. At the 1st one go right. At the 2nd turn left and follow the trail as it heads into the trees

Fir trees

Follow the trail.

Round the mountain

This large hill with fir trees is on the left.

Processionary catapillers

Watch out depending on time of year. I did this walk January the 1st.

Trial splits here

Take the left trail and continue coming around the mountain to the left.

Far in the distance to the right. Continue along the path and Limaria will come back into view

3rd and final set of ruins

On the left are these ruins and on the right is a view of Limaria

Orchards

After these trees the trail splits. Take a left

Up on the hill

The 1st ruin can be seen up the left.

Trail meets tarmac

The off road section ends here. Take a right onto the road and head up hill back towards the start.

A nice view towards the starting point.

A 4th set of ruins

In the farmers field over to the right will be these small ruins. Continue down the tarmac road towards the start.
