This walk starts at the village Llanos de la Concepcion. There is a big parking space next to the road FV-30 at the start of the hike.
The total ascent for this hike is about 500m, divided over several parts where you have to climb a bit.
The first part is hilly, at a certain point on a top you have to step over a fence to continue the path. I guess the fence is there to keep the goats in, not to keep visitors out.
After that you descend to the dam of the "Embalse de los Molinos", the "Reservoir of the Mills". This is a protected area, with a variety of birds. You'll have to go through an iron gate to continue along the reservoir, lift the gate slightly to make it easier to open the lock.
The last walk that we did in Fuerteventura (see Barranco de los Molinos hike) also reached this dam, but there is virtually no overlap between the hikes and they are very different.
This was a nice walk and it gets 4 our of 5 points from us.
