Llanos de Penaprieta
This is a Circular walk which starts at the parking area just past the giant ‘H’ arch (entrance to the shooting range – Club de Tiro Jarapalo).
The start of the parking entrance is on your right on the A404 just past Km16 (coming from Alhaurin el Grande).
The first part of this walk has about four ups and downs through the firebreak path, before turning left into the woods where there is plenty of shade.
Initially I was meant to go up the arroyo Hondo path where it was being repaired. I decided to turn back as the arroyo path had been washed away and it would have been a mad scramble to the top.
All in all it turned into a nice two hour circular walk

Mycket brant i början. Nästan så att vi tänkte vända. Sakta men säkert klättrade vi vidare och det var det värt. Den branta delen övergick till en bra och vacker väg. Väl värt allt klättrade men vi kommer inte att gå den en gång till
