Itinerary description
Important Note (!):
in Descent at the level of approximately 500 meters, we lost our tracks and we deviated from the path, because at this point we were threatened by the presence of the dogs of a Mountain Hut in the area. below the height of 500 m. the chosen path it is not part of the Classic Trail, and it is full of bushes. It is suggested to follow another path at the Altitude of 500m

From the altitude approx 460 m this track is of the "marketd" path. On the way down (80%) this is true bush walking. Long trousers are really usefull. In high season there is a restaurant in the Gramma Bay, tents for rent and a lot of people arriving by boats. Reserve minimum 7h for this hike.
From the altitude approx 460 m this track is of the "marketd" path - Correct.
We lost the Path so we had to improvise because we were also being attacked by dogs of a Hut with beehive.
I Suggest that at this height a different Path should be Chosen.
Hi Julian, is there another path i can go or i need to take the same direction but before 500m altitude?
Hi,
I think you have to turn left of the trail earlier than descending to 522m (My Pin “Tree”) … and then I believe you can choose a more seemly path according to your judgment and parallely following my route from your right as a possibility for Orientation.
Hope it Helps
Thanks! and can u tell me where u have meet the dogs?
Don't worry about the dogs… they stay in a hut on the other side of the river bed, just don't get too close to the river bed at 500m level… and at this Level everything is bushy…
Suggestion: Summer Season
(June, the bay is less crowdy)
Thank you, what about May - is weather good then? Also is there any drinking water there? i will have tent, sleeping back etc
The Mountain is dry (all Karaburun Peninsula) and I think without water sources… that's why the bushes are thorny.
I think the sea is a bit cold in May. To enjoy it with the right gradation, I suggest mid-June. But it depends on you
Pershendetje Julian, 13,48 km eshte vetem vajtje apo edhe kthimi? Te falenderoj.
