Itinerary description
Lluc - Refugi de Son Amer - Coll de sa Batalla - Font des Guix - Sa Bretxa Vella - Sa Llengonissa - Coveta Negra - Caimari.
Along the historic pilgrim path (Cami Vell de Lluc) where the «faithful» used to make a pilgrimage to Lluc monastery.

Lluc:
As the administrative centre of the municipality of Escorca, Lluc is the meeting point for Mallorquins who visit the shrine of the Virgin Mary. Features of Lluc that are worthy of special mention include Es Porxets, formerly the lodgings for the pilgrims there; the buildings of Ca s'Amitger, which at present house an information centre about the Serra de Tramuntana; the Camí des Misteris, a track that climbs the Pujol de sa Trobada hill where tradition has it that a shepherd named Lluc found the figure of the Virgin, and, last but not least, the church, with a basilical f loor plan and architectural features from different periods, together with a shrine where the figure of the Virgin, probably dating back to the 14th century, is displayed.
Son Amer:
Daring from the 13th century this estate includes a chapel and watermill. This refugi occupies a hilltop site surrounded by woodland, with a garden terrace offering a fine view back to Lluc.
