Lomas del Flamenco, Mijas
This circular walk starts a few kilometres on the outskirts of Mijas village adjacent to urbanisation Valtocado.
The walk starts on the Camino de los Pilones and is downhill all the way to the perimeter of Mijas Golf. From here you veer left onto Camino Las Lomas del Flamenco, then onto Camino Las Chicharras passing through part of Alqueria. And finally back to the start.
There are some great panoramic views of the coast, Sierra Alpujata, Torrecilla and Sierra de Mijas.
There are some nice villas on the route, some not so nice, and some old abandoned wrecks. The return journey is all gradually uphill.
