Itinerary description
Mt. Meron is the highest mountain east of Yarden river, it is covered with dense forest and provides many hiking opportunities. This trail starts at the camping site on the outskirts of Meron village, goes around the mountain, climbs to the top, follows the "summit trail" and goes back to the camping site through the village. Along the way you will see all of Galilee spread beneath your feet. The trail is not difficult, but is rather long. Various shortcuts are possible. Enjoy!
