Was 10 km on distance. Max height 1800 meters as lost signal . Great walk out of the sun very beautiful. Natural forests...
Ideal in hot weather but you need 1.5 litres water as humid.
Park at the bottom of the road above Santiago del teide. You can not drive up. Take first right up the tarmac road. Walk down until sign for 51 pumto de teno then do not take turning bearing left for this bear right up the steep hill . Turn right then left into forest . Carry on few km bear right up steep path . Keep going . You will come to a crossroads option go down or straight on . Take the overgrown path to your right . Carry on . Turn left then on the palmar 56 turn left . Then there is a left turn of the gravel road into forest. Carry on . Then you will join another wider path turn left to the metal large gate turn down to the end of the tarmac road to car or bus stop
