Itinerary description
We started this walk from the parking place called called Area Recreo de Jarillo.
Not far from the buidlng that you see there, there is an informationboard which mentions the Torre de Meca.
The walk is very easy and pleasant and on a windy day, which it was, you can walk without being bothered by it. There are many more paths than the ones we took and you could walk any direction without the chance of getting lost, that being the advantage of walking on top of the only hill in the surroundings. The ground is wonderfully soft to walk on and the vegetation is breathtaking.
From the Mirador Trafalgar you have a wonderful view of Capo Trafalgar and its lighthouse and from then on you will have good views of the ocean and the coast until Conil de La Frontera and its cliffs to the north and the Faro de Roche situated above the harbour of Conil.
Shortly after the Mirador Trafalgar you will come upon the Torre de Meca.
Once you get to the lower part of the hill, a spectacular descent follows of sliding down through the sand, and after that you turn to the right walking south east and you will have nice views of San Ambrosio and the hills in the direction of Vejer de La Frontera.
