Los Condes – Cañada de la Adelfa – Alta Verde
This circular walk is the last of the Los Condes variations (variation No 5).
From Los Condes it picks up the Sendero Cañada de la Adelfa. It’s a lovely route with lots of zig-zags. Once you have made your way around the ravine, you carry on down the Pista Sur until you arrive at Alta Verde. From here it’s a short distance back to the off road parking area (limited parking).
This is the longest of the variations, with great views of the coast and the Sierra de Mijas. There was about 50% shade on this route. In the Autumn and Winter there will be more.
Venta los Condes
This great little Venta has had a change of ownership; it has been reformed and gone upmarket. The change is amazing. It is run by my friend Jimmy Stavos, whom I have known for more than 17 years.
It provides a unique blend of traditional venta and fine dining.
You can also turn up for only a drink after a walk.
If you want to eat there it’s better to make an appointment as it gets booked up very quickly
