Itinerary description
This walk is really fabulous. Please do this one if you fancy a short but different type of walk in this area. Although the first part is a regular rambla stroll, after about 20 minutes the rambla narrows down and becomes much more interesting. If you have ever walked in the Sierra Espuna it has the same feel as parts of that. Overgrown narrow paths but all passable easily by just using a walking pole to push aside the foliage or in some cases, just step over it. A few places where you need to get up some rocks but again not much effort required and nothing dangerous. Lined with trees this rambla really makes you feel like you are on an adventure. I very highly recommend this and once you get up on the hills you are back to the regular fantastic scenery that you expect in Los Higuerales. There is a fairly steep climb down back to the rambla on the way back but again any regular walker will cope with this comfortably. If you do this walk, please can you leave a review as I would like to know if others have enjoyed this as much as I have.
