Itinerary description
A beautiful walk which we have really enjoyed. There were a couple of short sections along roads, but the vast majority of the trail led us through stunning, unspoilt wooded countryside. We even saw a mongoose crossing our path. The visit to Los Marines was a bonus, with a cool area near to the ancient Lavaderos where we stopped and had our picnic. The church there is beautiful with blue decoration and the customary stork’s nest. The spring flowers along the entire walk were stunning. I would strongly recommend this walk.

Please note apenman and I did the entire loop but had to switch phones halfway through due to phone battery expiring. We have found this to be a problem on a long hike. See his review for the first half of the walk.
