Itinerary description
A beautiful trail through the rainforest, fields, along the coast and the village of Los Planes.
You have to cross numerous streams on the way, and the part along the coast can be very muddy. In the rainy season, or after a bigger rain, the level of water can be high, especially where Rio Claro gets to the ocean. When I was crossing, the level of Rio Claro was until waist, probably also due to the high tide. On the way from Rincon beach back to Los Planes, you have to cross water twice again.
You need plenty of water and sunscreen.
