Itinerary description
My son and I enjoyed a three day outback adventure in one of a few coastal wilderness hiking experiences in the United States. The northern half of the Lost Coast Trail follows a rugged shoreline of sand and rock for 40km between Shelter Cove and Mattole Point in California. Weather during our trek was fantastic offering up breathtaking views, superb sunsets and refreshing dips - attached photo journal paints a clear picture.
