Itinerary description
LP 13 - Cascada del colores
A really pretty hike towards a waterfall / spring in the bottom of the mountain. You start from the Caldera de Taburiente parking lot. All hikes are called LP 13
We started the hike with the written out path. We weren't sure whether to walk through the river bed or better not. We stuck to the route all the way to the Cascada del colores. The hike itself is pretty easy. Nothing to overcome and no sudden steep raises or crazy peaks. A nice walk through the barranco really. On the way back we figured out that we can walk down in the river bed and came back that way. The way itself is more or less the same, because the hiking path itself just leads above the river bed to the goal. On the way back there isn't much more of a difficulty to the hike. You just need to overcome a little obsticle around the big rock formation I photographed on the way towards the goal. But all together a very green, very beautiful and easy hike through the pines 💚
