Itinerary description
We did this walk in the clockwise direction, to get the steep part of the climb over with! This is about one third of the trail, but we needn't have been concerned, as virtually the entire trail is on very good track. It steepens a little near the top on a tarmac road. But basically whole trail is easy underfoot. Great views, more abandoned houses etc than I've seen on any local walk, and at this time of year, many spring wild flowers. Bar at beginning and end of the walk.
