Itinerary description
A really nice loop around Lucinasco that will climb and make you walk along the ridge, the Via Marenca.
You'll see a small church (Santuario di Santa Maria Maddalena) and a chapel along your way.
The climb is moderately difficult, the path is well traced. At the beginning you'll follow red-white signposts. I don't recommend to reverse the direction since you'd finish by a strong descent.
You'll probably encounter some goat herd. Be careful to the dogs guarding them. They are normally really pacific and not dangerous but remember to follow their "indications" and to not approach the goats if they don't allow it. If needed, simply go back and they'll leave you alone.

Nice hike with just one steep climb at the beginning and then a stroll on the mountain top with a 360 degree view. The way down is easy, on a foresty road (with no cars when we did it in may)
