Itinerary description
Easy hike around weekend house Magallotes. First 200 m you have to follow primitive path up to the hill, the rest of the trip is on the normal trails.

Starting at Magallotes cottage, this area is excellent for hiking, beautiful trails through the forest “corona forestal” lead you all the way to:
1. Lower part of El Teide.
2. If you head west you can reach Arenas negras recreational area. The forest ends at this point and you can enjoy the amazing contrast of various lava colors and the beginning of the national park.
3. If on the other hand you decide to head east, the trail leads you to El Lagar and La Orotava.
