Itinerary description
From Cortijo de las Minas to the Collado Linillos and then more steeply upwards to a saddle at the western end of the main ridge of Majalijar. Then up a short, steep scramble and continuing to the mountain's western top (Primero Alto). From here, across another top (Segundo Alto) and continuing to the trig point (Vertice) on a third top. (Note: the highest point on the mountain is bypassed as it appears to be capable of ascent only by technical climbing.) From the trig point, continuing further east until a suitable descent from the ridge can be found, and then descending further to the ruined acequia, from which a path leads back to the starting point.
Although the route is given a moderate grading, the short scramble is a rather steep and awkward obstacle to get past.
