Itinerary description
At just over 6k this appears to be an easy walk but don’t be deceived, there is a sustained uphill climb and paths are rocky and uneven. Neverless it’s a lovely rewarding hike with great views over Marbella and down the coast to Gibraltar. All this 3 minutes away from La Canada! The hike started and ends at the excellent La Cascada bar / restaurant

Take a right here keeping the building on your left and zig zag up following the path

Continue on the path following the signs for La Montua then Puerto Rico Bajo. Cross over 2 streams and emerge into a clearing

This strange collection of cairns should be on your left, shortly you will see the white gates which you passed on your left at the beginning of the hike, turn right through the gates and follow the road back to the car
