Itinerary description
A short trail of 5.7 kms starting from the car park (twice to the car) by the "Praia Fluvial de Merelim" (São Paio).
The access to the water is good and the safe area is clearly marked.
Busy as expected at peak times during the summer, with space for picnics, BBQ, bar, etc.
The trial runs along beside the beautiful river initially, past picnic tables, before heading inland on the roads and back to the start point.
