Itinerary description
If you're staying in Maspalomas it's more or less obligatory to walk the sand Dunes. The walk is rated moderate rather than easy because dune walking is not always easy underfoot. The path across to Meloneras is not well waymarked, but if you aim just to the right of the "twin towers" you won't go far wrong. You'll need to cross the flood channel to walk down the west side of the lagoon to reach the beach where the walking along the waters edge is easier going than in the dunes. Resisting the urge to hose down the acres of sunburnt sagging German flesh in a bid to help them back in to the sea, make your way to Playa des Ingles where some steps will lead to a promenade which will bring you back to the start point. You can now have your hand stamped to confirm that you have done it so you won't need to to do it again!

Great Trail just watch out for the drifting sand dunes. Follow the trail exactly or follow the newish marked trails as long as you head in the same direction.
