Un bonito sendero circular en el valle del río Trevélez, debajo de Pitres. Desde Mecina andamos por carretera (casi abandonada) a Ferreirola, allí bajamos por un sendero estrecho y rocoso hasta el puente 'romano' sobre el río Trevelez y su ruína de molino, seguimos a nuestro lado del río y subimos pasando por los pueblecitos Fondales y Mecinilla para volver a la acogedora pizzería Cueva de la Mora Luna y sus buenas pizzas (mira su horario!).
A nice circular hike in the lush valley of the Trevélez river, below Pitres. On a (hardly used) main road we walk to Ferreirola, here we take a narrow and rocky footpath down to a 'roman' bridge across the Trevélez river and the ruin of an ancient mill. We stay on our side of the river and go up, passing the little villages Fondales and Mecinilla to get back to our starting point, where a good pizza is awaiting us in the cosy pizzeria Cueva de la Mora Luna (check opening hours!)
