Itinerary description

On 6 June we decided to drive to Lake Bled. We had heard many stories about it so we wanted to take a look. This time we naturally took Izzy our beauceron again. We left quite early as it was definitely 1.5 hours away. Along the way we had to detour through work and we arrived on parts unpaved which made the trip last longer. More than 2 hours after departure we were finally in Bled.
We parked the car at a hotel opposite the lake and crossed the road. Along the lake we turned left to walk around the lake with the island with church. We had a beautiful view over the lake and the mountains alone we had to shelter a few times because of the rain. A little later it happily cleared up again and on three quarters of the lake we could have a nice lunch on a terrace at Grajska Plaza Restaurant. After 2 3/4 hours the trip including lunch was over and we were here again an experience richer.
Nice to see but personally I did not think it was worth the long drive. Nice if you are in the area.
