Itinerary description
This hike follows for the most part the Israel National Trail. It starts in the Menahemia forest and ends in the center of Tveria from where you can take a bus to anywhere.
The trail begins with a descent to the Jordan valley and them follows the Jordan river to the Kinneret, from there is goes up to the Porya forest and follows to the Tveria forest. The trail in the forest offers gorgeous panoramic views of the Kinneret.
This hike is best done during the spring when everything is green and not so hot.
