Itinerary description

This trail goes through the landmarks of Menjiz and the network trail on the Lebanon Mountain Trail. This is one of the rare trails in Lebanon at such altitudes ranging from 350 to 250 m. It is a beautiful trail going through the black forest, Megalithic tombs, Menjiz Black stones houses, the Monastery of the Lady, and a Roman temple. It is a trail close to the Syrian border. It goes above Nahr al Kabir. Once in town, one can also visit the historical museum of Menjiz.
